Celtic in Gomez
I hope he stays with the Swans. But i wouldnt blame him if he decided to go to celtic as the champions league is garanteed as Celtic always win the spl lol

I hope he doesn't go but money talks. When you take Rangers and Celtic out of the equation (and maybe Hearts) I don't think the SPL is better than the CCC but the lure of European football and a fatter pay packet may be too much for us to contend with.

exactly, the spl isnt very competitive especilly compared to the CCC. The prem is very similar for instance its always between the so calle "Big Four" teams who are going to win.brecon_jack wrote:I hope he doesn't go but money talks. The SPL is even less competetive than the Prem. The teams towards the bottom wouldn't look out of place in League 1

It would be a very silly bid if he did go (although it would be to Espanyol), I wonder though would he enjoy as much. Other than European football is there much else to offer.
Unfortunately I don't know a lot about Scottish football teams so what else is there - plus would his missus leave? She's got her sister here hasn't she?

yea the SPL isnt competitive at all. As me and Brecon_jack have said that many spl teams are league 1 standard.dybie_jack wrote:It would be a very silly bid if he did go (although it would be to Espanyol), I wonder though would he enjoy as much. But then again with Celtic granateed to win the league and play in the UEFA Champions League will make it more attractive for him.

Playing in front of 60K crowds will be tempting as well. There's no guarantee he'll start for them though. At least with us he'll only have to maintain his form to be guaranteed a starting place.

Yea ur right there Celtic do have some quality players so he would have to work harder to be in the team. Whereas at Swansea all he needs to do is preform and RM will keep him in the squad.brecon_jack wrote:Playing in front of 60K crowds will be tempting as well.
