World Darts Championship
Semi's are on soon! Anyone watching it and interested?
Barney had a great 9-dart finish yesterday.
But i hope Taylor wins it again this year, a class act, and a tidy bloke!

Watched all games except the one afternoon session that included Nicholson vs Lewis
Love the PDC Darts and really hope Taylor does the business tonight! I'll probs watch the BBC's BDO at some point, but the PDC is on another planet compared!
Come On Phil!

Ye same staff. This world championship has been a good one, and ive watched loads of it likewise.
Tonights final should be a good one.
But Phil is just a differerent class on his day.

Re: World Darts Championship
In a way I'm delighted that Taylor won the Championship in the end, but am also gutted. Taylor isn't a nice bloke by no stretch of the imagination. I once went to Cardiif (sadly) to watch th darts, and the players willingly shook my hand no problem, yet Taylor refused, what does that tell you about the bloke.
Also, the BDO championship is a complete joke. It's just an excuse for people to call themselves a world champion. Come on, I recently entered the BDO Championship for next year. You wouldn't be able to do that on the PDC Championship.

Ha ha. Rhys, in case you didn't realise a moron could kick a football, just look at David Beckham, and a moron could more easily chuck a ball to someone for them to catch.
I agree with you the Taylor has a huge ego, but you can't be saying that darts doesn't deserve to get TV coverage. It's probably the biggest growing sport in the world, and after the stick that darts players have gone through, I think the sport deserves to be on TV to be honest.

Aaaah! C'mon the start of the darts is the best intro to any sport
altogether now
LET'S.............PLAY.................DARTS!
It's great because you don't have to be fit to play, the spectators get something to do while watching and the judge announce scores with funny voices (180!)
I love darts!

Not a sport.
The definition of a sport is "an activity that requires skill and athletecism."
It's a game, that you practise in a pub. Athletes my arse

Darts does require skill, so therefore it is a sport.

Read what I wrote again, a combination of skill and athletecism.
Darts is a game of skill, but there's no athletecism.
Much like dominos, monopoly and snooker.
Not a sport!

What the dictionary says
darts, (used with a singular verb) a game in which darts are thrown at a target usually marked with concentric circles divided into segments and with a bull's-eye in the center.
