Re: Final Farewell
I can't see how difficult it is to understand that he aint coming back.
Martinez doesn't like players who don't pull their weight. I say bring him in for a game, put him in the 451 and see how much he moves, I guarentee people will have a new appreciation of Scotland.
He's on a good wage there and wont get that here, he'd be stupid to come back and management will be stupid to consider bringing him here.
I was a fan when he was here, if it wasn't for trundle who knows where we'd be. But lets be realistic, he's 2 years older and hasn't had much football. It would take him 6 months to get fit enough to play in our system and he wasn't exactly a worker when he was with us.
We have Pintado who is starting to look good again after his injury, Scotland who is more than capable of getting goals and come January no doubt we will be getting a pacy forward.
Thanks for the memories Lee, but lets make sure the legacy isn't ruined by a poor second run.

Leave him as an unpaid ambassador, like he's doing now.
I've never known a player to talk so much about a former club.

Re: Final Farewell
He was a great player and a legend for the club.
Personally his agent led him a stray.
Hope he gets some game time on the pitch not for just tomorrow's game but for the rest of his career.

But once you look at it without those rose tinted specs, it's quite easy to see that brining him back is a bad idea.

Oh well wot a surprise
Trundle was happy...with a capital "H" when he was with us....he must feel really resentful now towards that agent for....etc..etc..
