There's all sorts of people doing it, tall and gangly is a bad one. It's down to leverage. Me being short and stocky benefits me in 2 of the 3 lifts, but it's no good for all 3.

The last time i did a lift, i was jiggin from side to side, backwards and forwards, with a strained look on my face.....and then the instructor came along and put 2 weights on the bar

Woah that guy is massive!! lol
My mate had a free weight in his living room once, it was pretty heavy, im not sure of the actuall weight but it was about 2 small ones and one big one haha Anyway, i managed to lift it above my head, but suddenly had a sensation that something was'nt quite right. Before i knew it, i was being pulled backwards and down by the weight, but luckily it landed on a small table so i was'nt crushed haha Hurt my back a bit though I could never do it lol

I worked in a gym for years, some of the things i've seen still make me laugh. The funniest is still someone falling off a treadmill, they fall flat on thier face then fly off the back.

Depends what it feels like. See how it is Monday and I'll see if I can work out what you've done.

And yet at 6.30 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning you still turn up.
You love it really
Re: My best mate's new website
Just had a good nose around the site. Firstly, a nicely laid out well presented site, so well done on that.
The content though is great, love the youtube vids as well. Gives you a real sense of what this guy is doing, and WOW! Fair play. One I have added to my bookmarks.
