Bodde and Britton Empty Bodde and Britton

Post  AberdareJack on Sat Nov 22, 2008 3:56 am

just come out of the book signing in debenhams and Roberto was putting a brave face on things. Before anyone had asked the questions about the injuries he said that today was a bad day for Swansea city and that ferrie could miss 6 months and leon 2-3 weeks. Fair play to roberto he was the ultimate pro and a real gent. You would never have thougt that he had just lost the heart of his team and had lost cruelly the night before.
He said to me that leon is the one we will miss the most as he is the key to the way we play.
I told him thAt after all the book signing he may need to see oscar the maaseur as we don't want anymore injuries. He laughed and said you Are right there john!
My biggest suprise was when I told him we brought a full coach from aberdare for last nights game. He beamed and said that's fantastic as I know that the valleys has a few jacks and is dominated by Cardiff city. He couldn't believe it when I told him that our travel club was nearly 30 years old and the oldest swans travel club of them all (have that ugo!)

Back to the topic - with bodde leon and gomez missing the Cardiff game who do we play in midfield?
I'm in costa coffee in Swansea right now wondering how the he'll are we going to get through the next month or so without our best players and I am dreading next sunday as I can't see how we are going to get a positive result.

In other words a premership cast off or a youngster with zilch experience of the Championship - no thanks we already have Brandy!

We need a tried and tested player who has lots of experience - even if its an older player who knows the Championship well.

Apparently he could play Tuesday if he has pain relief injections.... but we'll see him against Cardiff, I'm sure.
