Poll- Why should we move our footie because of the rugby?

Like most Swans fans I am sick of having our football moved to Fridays and Sundays just because 'our national sport' (sic) is being played up the road. Do the WRU move Cardiff Blues/Ospreys games around because a Welsh International football game is being played - answer NO! So why should WE have to cater for them?

Not really bothered as long as they dont play between 07:30-18:00 monday to friday im all for any day.
You just have a head like a box of toys on the monday after a sunday match but hey im Hardcore :twisted:

I don't think the reason for moving our football matches is because of the WRU, I think it's because of the police. They can't be both in Cardiff and Swansea, that is why we haven't been home on the same days this season that Cardiff have.

BBC and ITV have said before it has been moved becuase of the internationals

Although i dont like having our matches switched dates, i do like the rugby international with wales. Always a good crack and loads of people are always out! :)

Trouble is, if results don't go our way on saturday then the pressure is really on our boys to get 3 points. If results don't go our way and we lose sunday, then we could drop down to 16/17th place!

I dont think the egg chasers would be happy if we moved their heineken cup games around because there was a footie international. They should have a late KO (5:30pm) for the rugby and let us KO at 3pm. The Watford game will not have a huge police presence like Birmingham, Wolves or Cardiff

why is this game between Wales vs South Africa earlier than usual?

i have to stay up till 3 am now to watch the game!

It is not only a police thing, the club know less people will turn up to watch the Swans if there is an international on.

we could have had them was so disapoiting tho all the breaks we made yet we didnt take chances in the six nations we would have walked them in but against the southen hemo we have to take are chance

Affected the atmos big time today. Sunday kick off = quiet and low crowds. Lets give the WRU the red card!

The saturday game was irrelavant, our game was much more important.
